The Advisory Committee offers expert advice, guidance, and recommendations to The Information Rights Project's Board.
As outlined in the Terms of Reference, please note that this is a voluntary, non-remunerated role. The Committee operates in an advisory-only capacity and does not have any decision-making authority within the organisation. All recommendations provided by the Committee are non-binding and the implementation of any advice remains at the discretion of tIRP’s Board and executive.
As part of our application process, we kindly ask you to provide the following:
A brief statement of interest outlining your background, relevant experience in areas mentioned in the Terms of Reference, and why you would like to join the Committee.
A declaration of any relevant affiliations, interests, or relationships that could represent a real or perceived conflict of interest in the context of the Committee's work.
The names and contact details of one or two professional referees who can speak to your suitability and experience in your areas of expertise.
