Whistleblower Diaries #2 Free Hüseyin Doğru with Chris Hedges & Sevim Dağdelen

June 3, 2026

An exclusive Australian online conversation.
Hüseyin Doğru is a Berlin-based journalist. He has not been charged with a crime. He has not stood trial. He has not been convicted. The European Union sanctioned him anyway. His bank accounts are frozen. It is a criminal offence under EU law for anyone to employ him or send him money. His wife's accounts have also been frozen, despite not being named on the sanctions list. His three young children are living inside a financial crisis the EU created. These are measures designed for foreign state actors, not journalists exercising their right to report.
